PLANNING GUIDE

Choosing and approving materials

General guidance. Its application depends on the property and work; it does not replace a technical assessment.

01

Start with use

Consider moisture, cleaning, durability, comfort and maintenance. A visual reference does not replace a technical sheet or sample. Confirm suitability with the professional specifying the material.

02

Review selections together

Compare flooring, stone, timber and paint samples under the light in the space. Record references, finishes, dimensions and alternatives. A screen colour does not guarantee the appearance of a delivered product.

03

Approve before ordering

Confirm quantities, lead times, installation, maintenance and who approves substitutions. Record the decision and its budget and programme impact. Bespoke items require measured dimensions to be validated before production.
